NOTE: This is just a brief overview of our show mission! Crammed Organisms is the world's largest plush show! Nowhere on earth have so many stuffed creatures been collected under a single banner! Asia cowers before the might of Crammed Organisms, Europe shakes in its boots, South America secretly yearns for such glory, and North America glows with pride as tons of cotton fill its streets and cloud the sky!Enticed yet? Well stop! We have much more to tell you and it would be a waste of our time to tell you more if you're already interested. In addition to the shear hugeness of the event we offer a diversity to match its size! In each of the venues hosting Crammed Organisms you will find stuffed whimsies and art not displayed in any of the others!That's correct, each host will have its own goodies, events, bands, demonstrations, and other entertaining (and possibly delicious) distractions from your meaningless, pathetic life. That's right, your life is meaningless without this show! Fairy, Folk, and Fable (the three F's of Crammed Organism's 2008 theme) have been terribly absent from Saint Louis and even the world itself! Without stuffed representations of our hopes and dreams we stand no chance of ever achieving them! How can you possible afford to miss such a thing? What sort of person are you anyway?Crammed Organisms, as mentioned before, is being hosted by multiple independently owned businesses here in Saint Louis. These quirky shops are what holds back the rampaging hordes of Wal-Marts, Targets, Star Bucks, and Borders that scour the globe devouring small businesses like foxes in a legless chicken farm. Each venue has added to the culture and character of Saint Louis, keeping the city's unique flavor alive and thriving in an increasingly homogeneous world.When you check out the show you'll become a part of that bulwark, part of the defense against the clone army. Besides, isn't it just cool that you'll be part of the largest plush show in the world? Don't you want to show those Commie-Chinese whose boss? We are absolutely tired of their Great Walls, Great Damns, and Great Food! It's time we joined together and make the first and only plush show visible from the U.N. Space Station! There's one other thing, oh person reading this introduction; we may just need your help in building this show from top to bottom. If you'd like to help out with the events, if you've got stuffed creations or art that relates to both stuffed animals and Fairy, Folk, and Fables (or would like to create unique pieces just for the show) we want it! Be advised, however, our just and righteous judge of all that is fluffy (or fluffy-related) will be accepting your submissions or dismissing them with all the force that a "return to sender" stamp can muster. |
